Der gewaltsame Tod der britischen Parlamentsabgeordneten Jo Cox löst bei uns Bestürzung, Trauer und tiefe Betroffenheit aus. Unsere Gedanken sind bei ihren Angehörigen und unseren britischen Parlamentskolleginnen und -kollegen. Ihnen sprechen wir unser tiefes Beileid aus und versichern sie unserer Solidarität und unseres Respekts.

In these hours of immense sorrow and disbelief, we wish to extend our sincerest condolences on behalf of the National Council and, through its members, the entire Swiss people.

The brutal killing of Jo Cox, our colleague of the British Parliament, is an attack on our society's fundamental values and freedoms, principles that we must resolutely defend.

In the face of so much suffering, we would like to express our solidarity with you and share in your grief. We wish to express our deepest sympathy.
