– Adjusted exemption from the reporting obligation for international bonds – Publication of the adjusted Reporting Office Rules to become effective from 1 May 2024
In SIX Swiss Exchange Message No. 19/2023, SIX Swiss Exchange informed its participants of the extension of the exemption from the reporting obligation for international bonds admitted to trading until 30 April 2024.
With this message, SIX Swiss Exchange informs its participants of the adjusted exemption from the reporting obligation for international bonds and the publication of the Reporting Office Rules effective from 1 May 2024.
Adjusted Exemption from the Reporting Obligation for International Bonds On 31 July 2023, SIX Swiss Exchange announced the extension of the exemption from the reporting obligation for bonds admitted to trading in the international bonds segment in accordance with Annex A of the Reporting Office Rules until 30 April 2024. The exemption from the reporting obligation for bonds admitted to trading in the international bonds segment will be maintained in the future but will be limited to bonds that have no connection to Switzerland.
As of 1 May 2024, trades in international bonds with connection to Switzerland must be reported. Such a connection with Switzerland is presumed if the bond is issued by a company domiciled in Switzerland or by a foreign branch, subsidiary or associated company of such a company.
Reporting Regulations The change related to the adjustment of the exemption from the reporting obligation for international bonds affects the Reporting Office Rules of SIX Swiss Exchange AG. The revised Reporting Office Rules become effective on
