Continuation request
A continuation request asks the Swiss debt enforcement office to proceed after the payment order stage and any objection has been cleared.
The continuation request is the creditor’s application to move debt enforcement beyond the payment order. It is available when the debtor did not object, withdrew the objection, or the creditor has obtained its removal or a judgment allowing continuation. The next step depends on the enforcement route: seizure, realisation of pledged property, or bankruptcy. The request must be made within the applicable procedural time limits and to the competent office, otherwise the creditor may need to start again.
