Staff leasing

Staff leasing, often called temporary agency work, involves an employment contract between the worker and the staffing agency and an assignment to a client company that directs the work. In Switzerland, commercial staff leasing is regulated and typically requires authorization, with special rules on contracts, wage and working conditions, social insurance, and occupational safety. The user company shares practical responsibility for protecting the worker at the workplace. Cross-border leasing and placement activities raise additional licensing and compliance issues.
