Talent agreements

Talent agreements set the legal framework for services by performers, athletes, presenters, creators, models, influencers, or esports players. They usually cover scope of work, schedule, exclusivity, compensation, expenses, approvals, image rights, intellectual property, confidentiality, morals clauses, insurance, cancellation, force majeure, and termination. Under Swiss practice, proper classification matters: an arrangement may resemble employment, mandate, agency, or licence, with different tax, social security and liability effects. Agreements involving minors, collective rules, federation eligibility, platform terms, or cross-border exploitation need particular care.
