In SIX Swiss Exchange message no. 09/2018, SIX Swiss Exchange informed Participants about the start of the Membertest phase of the optional SWXess Maintenance Release 7.1 (SMR7.1), which primarily implements the new orders "Iceberg Plus" and "Limit Plus" for trading in the order book and in SwissAtMid. This message informs participants about the publication of the trading regulations for SMR7.1.

Participant readiness The updated "SMR7.1 – Participant Readiness" brochure published with this message now also contains detailed information on the regulatory changes of SMR7.1. The changes since the last version of the document can be found in the document history of this brochure. More information on the SWXess Maintenance Release 7.1 can be found on the SWXess Maintenance Release (SMR) web page and in the Member Section of SIX Swiss Exchange.

Regulations The following Directives and Guidelines are affected by the changes introduced with SMR7.1 and have been amended accordingly:

  • Directives of SIX Swiss Exchange AG

  • Directive 3: Trading

  • Directive 5: Trading without pre-trade transparency

  • Guidelines of SIX Swiss Exchange AG

  • Trading Parameters

  • List of Trading Charges Subject to the necessary approvals, the amended trading regulations for SMR7.1 enter into force on 28 May 2018 and are now published under the following links on the SIX Swiss Exchange website:

Rollout The rollout of SMR7.1 in the Production environment is planned for 28 May 2018. SIX Swiss Exchange will confirm the Production go-live of SMR7.1 by 23 May 2018.
